GAMA-1 Technologies is Hiring a System Administrator (Redhat Linux) Near College Park, MD
Task Description:
Linux Administrative activities include:
- Patching servers monthly or on as needed basis for vulnerabilities
- Resolve daily issues on Red Hat servers and escalate if assistance required
- Troubleshoot issues on Red Hat Identity Management servers
- Troubleshoot issues on Certificate and PKI infrastructure
- Must be available for 24x7 on call rotation
- Resolve help desk tickets
- Must be able to work with oversite to execute against a set of requirements
- Should have working knowledge of Red Hat Linux
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot and resolve tickets opened for routine tasks.
- Identify backup failures of VM’s and work with Backup admin to resolve the issues.
- Reset passwords, create accounts, Assign permission.
- Manage file mounts, monitor space usage and increase as appropriate.
